Bound Home: Day 2 (October 2, Sunday)

With mixed emotions I got on a taxi going to the Suvarnabhumi (read as: Suwanapoom) International Airport way earlier than my scheduled flight at 5:45 in the afternoon. All I could think of was that few hours from then I would be seeing familiar sights and would be hearing familiar language.

When it was time to board, I could hardly contain myself and the moment the plane flew I was overjoyed. As I was seated at the window seat, I had the best view of the sunset that was about to unfold. I tried to capture every hue of the sky that changed minute by minute. It was magical. It was beautiful and a very rare experience indeed to feel like I was closer to heaven as I thought.

I felt so much blessed to have witnessed this fantastic artistry. For a while I totally forgot where I was heading as I was busy taking photographs of the colorful sky that looked very inviting and fascinating behind those white fluffy clouds.  If you are a student who needs to book for a flight, check out Student Flights at http://www.studentflights.com.au/ for a more convenient booking.

In no time, I arrived at the Ninoy International Airport at 11 o'clock in the evening and had to stay for the night at my friend Iby Morala before my next flight bound for Butuan the next day.
