Phuket Scenes: Babies on Holiday (Series 1)

If I'd become a professional photographer I'd be specializing "children photography". For one, because little kids remind me of my "baby sitting days" with my nephews and nieces. As the youngest of 7 - all of them have their own family now, you can just imagine how many of them I have now. Believe me, I have baby sit quite a few of them, play with them, fight with them and put them to sleep through my sweet singing voice (ahem..lol) during their babyhood and I kinda missed it. Another reason is that children are the sweetest models you could get. With their sweet smiles and their innocent and sincere expression - how could a photograph be wrong?

While in Phuket, I met a lot of heaven-made children - beautiful, lovely, and really angelic kids and I was able to practice my photography skill with them. Here are some of my shots.

She would just not give me even one glance.
At first this little girl was too shy to smile for my camera but with a little help from her mom and dad, she finally gave me that sweet sweet smile of hers with her sweet sweet lollipop. Her twin brother (I suppose) seem to be oblivious of what's happening around him though.

Lollipop Girl
Ice Cream Kids
I spotted these two Chinese-looking kids inside Central Mall at Phuket obviously enjoying their delectable ice-cream. At first they never thought I took a shot at them and when this boy realized they were being photographed, he let out a nice giggle while covering his mouth with his hand.

Letting out a shy giggle. Lovely scene, isn't it?
The Beach Volley Champ!
This lovely little man here was the most confident model I got in there. He loves the camera and the camera obviously loves him. See...he was just having fun while I was taking this photo. Below, he was joined by his friend and these two just owned the beach. They loved the water and they're having grand moment.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

With a lot of photographers taking pictures of mostly lovely. sexy models, I wonder why they take less pictures of their loved ones.

Now, I'm almost convinced to post my project 365 here with mostly one subject, my one-year old girl ^_^
